Vikas,

Pls mention that the compressor is Centrifugal or Reciprocating? Id treat them separately while designing a supporting system. But in either case it is not advisable to provide a support from the platform of the compressor.

is it advisable to take pipe support for compressor inlet n outlet lines from the compressor support columns? it is advised that support shall not be
taken from the columns as they will be vibrating along with the machine hence the vibration will pass on to the nozzles. my opinion is that since
both machine n structural column and the support are subjected to same vibrations hence there should not be any adverse effect on the nozzles. i would like ur valuable opinion on this regards
vikas
