Please check if there are break-up flanges in the line. Cement lined pipes normally come with break-up flanges after every installation length (6 to 12 metres). This is definitely not a fool proof method but at least you may ascertain whether the pipe is a lined one (epoxy or cement).

Also you may check for the small instrument tapings. If the pipe is lined, instrument tap-offs would be of minimum 2" to 4" followed by a flange and a bored blind flange (4" x 1/2", for example).

However, the easiest way to know if the pipe is mortar lined is to get hold of a person who has been in your site since installation of this pipe, pay him 100 bucks and gather all information you need.

The line is running we cannot drill hole. The line leaked previously many time, but I'm new in the site. Our UT meters cannot detect the interface.
