Called north, True north, plant north what not. I thought it had some relevance to piping plot plans and/or layouts. If it did not, my apologies.

A magnetic compass shows magnetic north, which can vary from true north by a little or a lot, depending on where you are with respect to the magnetic pole. Do a Google search on "magnetic pole." What the hell brought this up on a piping list?
