Hi Shah M. Tanweer

If your copy of Karassik is the second edition you may want to look at the section entitled "water eductors"

Also the preliminary "theory and design" section should help; the basic principles are common th most fluids.

If it is OK with Paul (copyright wise) I can scan and post the bits of Forsters article that I have not lost. Failing that, I suggest you contact the library of an engineering school who should be able to trace the article for you. Note that the article is for steam and air jets so you will still have to do some engineering, and not just fill in the boxes.

If you need further help, go to the Schutte & Koerting website www.s-k.com and look for "Liquid Jet Eductor/Exhauster". They have downloadable (PDF from memory) data including most dimensions, and performance tables.

Cheers

Steve McKenzie

Dear colleagues
and Very dear Steve McKenzie

I went through "Karassik". Ofcourse there are lot of information. But I would like to be corrected. I have to remove non-condenseables from the system (MED Plant)through condenser. Does it correlates with what is given in Karassik for water / slurry or solid conveying, and what is the difference.

I could not find British Chemical Engineering in our Library nor on internet.

Besr Regards
