Ok I see what you mean. I say, yes. They all work in similar materials,
similar instruments, and similar environments. One of the hardest
things that I've seen for designers working for the first time with
Pharm/food/semicon industry are the slopes and clearances that have to
be maintained for a system to be certified. And the cleanliness issues
that have to be maintained when the system you're designing is going in
a clean room. Some of the contract pipers we've hired just don't get
it. Why does this line need to slope 1/4" per foot? Why do they need
that much room to clean between pipe runs? Etc, etc.
