Piping supports contact surface friction factor

Dear members,

Thank you in advance for your kind attention.

In the Gas Treating Plant we are working on, we have faced this problem that for Flare lines outside the battery limits, the piping supports have become very huge.
Piping load is big, elevation is high and the supports shall be of pipes. But considering 0.3 friction factor for pipe to pipe, the horizontal load will be so big that will tend to a huge supprt structure.

Is there any reference standard or approved engineering practice to stick to that to consider lower friction factor for pipe to pipe surface contact?

Best regards,
