On the Anti-friction type components, such as wear strips, bushing guide and possibly seal case, you could go to a high temperature polymer, such as PEEK (poly ether etherketone) -think I got the name right, definitely known in industry as PEEK. We have run valve components of this material, it's good for high temperatures but NOT for low - gets brittle at low temps.
