Dual Processors for CAD Use

Given today's CPUs, memory capacity and overall speed of general use computers, one has to wonder if a few dozen milliseconds in screen rendering really matters outside of the tweak geeks' measuring instrumentation and the CGI movie-making industry.

I've been running a 2 processor system on Windows for over a year, and everything still seems slow to me.
