Yeah, I know, I've read it along with most of his other writing over the past 12 months. This was the only one I've read that seemed to be relevant to a technical audience like this forum.

I read Slashdot and know how to use RSS feeds, and Cringely's column is fed into my customizeable Slashdot page (I also get a lot of other customized news feeds via the same method).

Ideally, PipingDesign will work the same way eventually. All it takes is time, money, programming and dedication.

Putting up a "Current Interesting Link" on the main page of Piping Design Central is one effort towards RSS, as the content of the site is static for the most part. Moving the discussion list to web-based would be an interesting move.

Although the site is still #1 (oh, crap! it's now #1 AND #2, for non-quoted "piping design"; I just checked) with Google and most other major search engines for relevant search terms and many may have made it their own start page (for work, mostly, I assume), there is not much new content there. All the really interesting stuff happens on this discussion list.
