Hi Jaydeep
geodetic height/head is sometimes referred to as the height/head above sea level ( MSL, HWLOST etc, etc). It allows for the earth not being truly circular, which raises some pumping head issues. Blame GPS. It is an inappropriate term for pumping, which is probably why you are unfamiliar with it.
Unfortunately I think you will need to ask the originator what he means. And at the same time ask him what is the local gravitational constant, as you have equal right to be pedantic.
