I feel your pain.
same here , plumbers and trades people are making huge money, even on non holiday weekends.
Hence all my comments about the value of engineering and design services.

I sure noticed. The leak occurred over memorial day weekend and the fix, which narrowly missed flooding my basement cost me about $800.
