dear all..need your comment..
- one of the consultant for the chilled water piping suggest to provide
the 5D staright lenght on the pump discharge and 3D on the suction.
Is the 5D length mentioned in any std. And if yes, why it is required.
- If the line include the bellow and the reducer whether the length of
both can be considered while maintaining the 3D/5D where D is the "D" is
the dia of the larger (header) pipe.
Pls note the service is chilled water and condenser water at design 10
barg.and the pump is side suction side discharge.
