What is a thin Tap. Is it the bore of the pressure tap tubing / pipe that you mean?

I'm measuring the pressure at a very thin tap. I know that pressure transducer is quite fast and the pressure rate should be high, however I getting a very slow response. Does anybody can help me about transmission lag on piping ?
