Dear All,

Regarding Trunnion Pipe supports , I've seen different books, project specs &..... but unfortunately I couldn't found any rule to use or not using reinforce pads in trunnions( for process industry / Normally CS pipes).

In some project specs, using of them recommended for supporting pipes with large NPS (16" or larger) but in some others I've seen the table for reinforced trunnion supports 3" NPS and above!!!

Shortly, Is there any certain criteria for using or not using of Reinforce pads in design of Trunnion pipe supports.

Thanks.

Ali
