The thing with Steve is that he shows up in a lot of places. I can't figure out how he does it and still maintains a wife and kids. Maybe he outsources it.
Last week I acted as a guide for a friend from the states (met online via snopes) and he's going around North America meeting people he's only known from the internet. He's a sociology professor, so I guess that fits with his natural instincts. I'd like to do the same thing, but my range would have to be bigger, given the people on the list. That's not going to happen anytime soon, but you can call and chat. Don't worry about the hour, I don't sleep much. When I do, it's always a screaming torrent of crushing metal anyway.
