Off Topic E-mail Question

Paul or anyone,
I often look at my personal e-mail at work, then go home, get more email. My problem is at home I have missing threads ( since they are at work). Is there a way to tell the server to not mark them as read so I get the emails AGAIN at home ?

     This is a minor inconvenience but I thought I'd ask
