Referring to my hero Ambrose Bierce (Devils Dictionary):
" lawyer" - "someone skilled in circumvention of the law."
Think I have quoted that before, but am trolling to see if the same bait works twice.
My favourite definition from Bierce is for "absent"; defined as " peculiarly exposed to the tooth of detraction". Or so I recall.

Really disappointed, there are multiple uses for lawyers in industry: 1.
Can be used as a replacement for lubrication wicks on chain drive
systems, large content of grease and oil, unfortunately low quality. 2.
Can be used as temporary block in piping for hydrostatic testing,
excellent obstructive qualities. 3. As you implied, can be used in large
quantities for load testing of structures (Note, dead weight only, not
live loads.) And, medically, a lawyer can be effectively used as an
antidote for an overdose of Viagra.

The simulation/game would have little 3D people that could be placed
inside the plant at likely points of failure.
