Dear Yan

The CAESAR can not check the pipe for vacuum conditions. You have to separately check the pipe for vacuum with ASME Sec VIII Div-I

good luck

Subject: [PipingDesign] Vacuum condition modelling

Dear all,

I am working on pipe stress analysis using Caesar II, one of my client ask me to make the case for vacuum condition which I never did before.. To make the vacuum condition I make the prssure input as minus 101 kpa, and I see the software is running well.
Since this is my first time to model the pipe under vacuum condition, I am not sure that what I did is correct please somebody advise me. Also what are the loads should be make for vacuum condition.

Thanks all,
Yan
