i understand that you are connecting lined CS pipe to CPVC Pipe. in my experience, lined pipe uses flanged connections, with the lining extruded thru the flange.

therefore, the mating face of the CS lined flange is the lining material itself. this approximates a flat faced flange.

to connect to a PVC flange, use a soft gasket and bolt kits designed for PVC with oversize washers.
