Hey Umesh....

I believe Steve prefaced his comments to your posting with a caveat......."I consider the response either irresponsible or with a knowledge far in excess of mine." So let's cut the guy some slack.....I'm not saying that I agree with either of the two points that I am highlighting in Steve's quote here..... just that your heavy handed retorts and long exposes (ex-pose-zays) may mean that you are getting low on things to do.....

When you begin to get close to Steve's level of participation, volume of knowledge , good manners and humor in our piping design group, I can support you publicly as well....

No offense meant here....just a reminder that while I read your posts with interest and respect, we are all colleagues here and subtlety and persuasion are the strategies we should use in communicating our differences. I look forward to reading more from you about chemical piping, hopefully in a tone that more parallels your place in our profession.

Hello Steve,

You are not at all getting my point. As I said " I know the HF concentration & temperature for all classes. But I don't want to mention it." Not because UOP will sue me, but I am concerned that any ignorant user may use it, without proper judgment. As I said "It is dangerous play with HF. Hence I don't recommend any user to select the material based on my guideline."

I said "Pilot Plants" not scaled plants. You did not understand it properly. Yes UOP has data from their plants, which were constructed in late 60's & 70's. Received on Wed Oct 20 11:11:00 2004
