Thanks for you reply. I must confess that I would tend to agree with Steve as to the validity of using wafer check valves in potential reverse flow situations. The water hammer effect that is often seen in installations is a function of pipeline design and the pipeline characteristics. We have used wafer check valves in many of our installations with great success, generally.
However, I am interested in your graphs and shall contact you off list if this is acceptable.
