Hi ,
It has been generally observed that in condensate recirculation lines (
LCA30) of power plants, due to upstream and downstream straight pipe
requirements for pressure differential flow meter, the line is sometimes run
straight for a length and then
looped back with a 180 deg return and thus unneccesarily space is reserved
for it.
Couldn't we replace that horizontally installed pressure differential flow meter by a vertically installed variable area flow meter and do away with the upstream and downstream straight lengths and save both material and space.
Regards,
Paritosh Garg
