Turbine is a high precision rotating machinery and in general it is always
advisable to go with the manufacturer of the equipment regarding allowable
loads. I believe manufacturer must have attached a table offering
allowable loads in each nozzle.
Generally speaking most manufacturers agree for a slightly higher nozzle
load in occasional case like seismic or steam hammer.

Is it nesesery to check the occasional (seismic) load on terbine
nozzle or not?
I have reviewed the Nema Code but didn't see any thing about the
occasional load.
