Dear cckla,
In case of Soil drain, the water supply pipe should be located at least 1 meter
away laterally and 1 meter above the Soil drain. I shall try to look up if
anything specific is mentioned about waste water. This is, of course, to
prevent contamination of the water supply. When the supply is turned off, the
surrounding subsoil water tends to be sucked in, through minor leakages in the
joints of the pipe.
