Some more diff.

         Tube Pipe

  1. Tube can be of round or any other section 1 ) But pipe means it is of round c / sec.

2 ) Tube is represented O.D. 2 ) Pipe is represented by N.B.

3 ) Tube can be specified by any of the 3 ) Pipe can be specified by using following two.
following
( a ) O.D. ( a ) N.B.

( b ) I.D. ( b )
Schedule of the pipe.
( c ) Wall thickness.

Up to my knowledge

Tubes are used for Flow and Heat Transfer.

Pipes are used only for Flow.
