If you don't know procedures for design and fabrication, you really
shouldn't be doing this project. It should be designed using a standard
equivalent to the ASME Code, and you need to know some materials
science and something about how the tank is to be built. You don't seem
to have studied basic mechanics which is an absolute must. There are a
number of serious hazards associated with design of a tank this size.
If you don't do it right you can absolutely spoil someone's entire
weekend. Get professional help.
