Dear Sakir

Your question is a bit vague and your more elaboration on that is needed. Have you replaced the bladder with the blind or you have completely removed the pulsation dampner and install a blind instead? If yes you have just removed the damping job!
What is the material of the blind that you might have used instead of bladder? What is the size of the dampner and what is the service of the pump? Does this pulsation dampner serve one pump or is there any other pumps working in parallel ?Is it installed on the suction or discharge? As a matter of fact the pulsation supression devices have different types and their design and arrangement shall be mutually agreed between the purchaser and the vendor.API 618 has good information on the pulsation supression devices.

Cheers

Reza

The matter is regarding one desalination plant High pressure pump.I have some problem with the pulsation damber before the triplex Highpressure pump. The bladder of the pulsation damber was broken so that we replaced it with by puting a blind same like pulsation damber. But the problem is that after some time the plant begins vibrate due to the trapped air inside..So is there is any ther solution as this type of damber is not available in the market.
