Jijoy,

At the risk of getting myself in trouble I would think that the acronym NPS stands for "nominal pipe size" and the NB does stand for "nominal bore" both are the same as I was taught and understand it. It is the way of a manufacture expressing his piping size and is generally related to the outside diameter although this is not strictly true. The safest way is to consult the charts to find the true dimensions. However, with this group it is likely that someone is better informed than I and will give a better explanation, it happens all the time.
