Hello Robin:
Online Coutesy/Etiquette: You know, I think sometimes people, particularly new
to the site, seem to think that asking a question is almost the same as
"Googling" - that it's just asking some big, anonymous program to produce an
answer. I believe we would all be well admonished and cautioned that when we
ask a question, we are asking a collection of individuals to contribute some
amount of their time. AND THESE ARE PROFESSIONALS - a doctor or lawyer will
charge you for answering a question - I think those professionals here are to be
highly commended that they give their time without a "back charge" - trying to
advance the profession and maybe keep those coming up from making a bad mistake.
But, again to beat on the point, we're a collection of individuals, not a search program. And those who forget this should (deservedly) get beaten around the head, shoulders, and dangling participles...

Hi Paul,
It must be my day today!
At the risk of being pedantic; I recall that for those who use the group on a regular or semi regular basis, that most if not all users are very polite and courteous amongst the members. Your observation as to the fly-ins however is correct, and your praise for the person concerned for thanking the respondent is deserved.
Cheers,
Robin
