We had a bolt manufacturer supply the special nuts from the same material as standard nuts and complete with certification. We took care during assembly to ensure adequate thread engagement.

Thanks Dennis. As I mentioned, I want to hear from field people for
greater input. I think I can speak for most of us office guys when I say
that the project doesn't end just because the "final" drawings are sent
out.

Were there any problems with certification?

I'd imagine that this might make inspectors look twice, if not totally
freak out.
