hi

I m also a new member of piping design group , i m from india and new also in piping design field ,
but the knowledge which i had gained in last six months of piping. For cost estimation of pipe u have to prepare bulk mto, which is prepared after considering almost all major pipe lengths of diff dia. After that u can calculate rough estimation by getting market rate for that pipe.In pipe estimation major cost is of pipes so u will have atleast rough estimation. And for co relation u can calculate flanges required by getting standard length of spool, by calculating how many spools will be required for ur purpose.

Hi Folks,

         I'm a new member in Piping Design Group and I have been thankful to hold of this community and share of the experience and technical knowledge of the yours members. I'm from Brazil and a beginning Chemical Engineering and work in a Brazilian petrochemical industry. Daily in my company, I'm handling with the job of carrying out the preliminary design of piping systems. But, I face difficulties in the costs estimation of the systems. So, would Like to know if anybody have some correlations to estimate the costs of pipes, accessories and pumps?
