Someone please backcheck me to ensure that Google isn't showing me what I want to see by using cookies. Using quotation marks tells Google to look for exact wording; my test searches below did not use quotation marks.
The website is now #1 ranked for the generic search term "piping".
Geoff Stone's article about surges in a piping system is ranked #3 for the search term "piping surges" and #1 for the search term "surges in a piping system".
A search for "instrument air piping" results in a #1 position for the site (this is Bruce's article, soon to be updated).
Not too shabby, considering that the site is run on a shoestring budget, part-time, doesn't spam or use shady, phony link farm tactics (or even actively seek out reciprocal linking for that matter). Admittedy, it *did* take 6 years...
Now we need more people to write articles. Based on the examples above, you are virtually guaranteed a high Google rank within a few weeks.
