(squinting and rubbing eyes coming out of the dark after lurking here for the last year!)

I have worked on a few large plant project in the recent past. The client did require that all EPC's involved use the same Software package to produce the model and all deliverables. PLM is catching on and the larger the project the more likely that clients will want to have a single, central data source to use for startup and have available to track the lifecycle of the plant.

I agree with this, and I'm glad you followed-up with some caveats. Some might interpret that I hate computers or CAD.
