Car Seal
Car Seal is a 'one-time-only' disposable device for locking/sealing equipment so that it cannot be operated.
The seal cable is threaded through the moving parts and then passed back through the hole in the seal body.
When the cable is pulled tight, the locking screw is tightened until the head shears off.
To enable operation of the equipment, the cable must then be cut.
Alternatively, contractors use chain and lock arrangement.

Also please note that in this condition, it is not mandatory to have valve stem horizontally.
The stem vertical / horizontal would depend on the service requirement.

Hi,

I am new in piping designing field. And I thanks to every body for their valuable contribution.
I have one querry about CSO/CSC valve tag, what is meaning of these and why these are require.
I heard that in this condition valve should be installed keep stem in horizontal.
