By the way, its almost impossible to weld a material that has undergone SCC attack. In most that Ive seen, once the welding is completed (attempted reapir) cracks (with an s) will be very visible after the application of dye pen. Worse if the DP was applied right after the hydro. Does hydro has to be 1.5X for piping system already in service that has been repaired? I wonder how its done by TDW on a welded enclsoure that they have installed for leaking pipe/valves/flanges?
