Had never heard of these before, so I googled and wound up at
pdhcentre.com.
Under pumping and piping, I saw they had a course on pumping station design for around $250. Reading the synopsis, I found the course was based on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Engineering Manual EM 1110-2-3105: Mechanical and Electrical Design of Pumping Stations. This is available elsewhere for free, so apart from mention of a multiple choice questionnaire (woohoo) I cant find the added value which justifies the price.
Perhaps someone can put me straight.
Cheers
Steve

I've used some of the courses for the continuing ed requirements for my
PE licenses. I usually try to go to a couple of real seminars and use
PDH courses to fill in the couple of extra required hours. By way of
disclaimer, I wrote a course for PDH and I've had pretty good
responses. A couple of people thought it was too hard, but most of the
comments I got were very comforting.
