Dear Babu,
You can select the common spring by defining theoretical cold load and spring rate at the bottom of spring spreadsheet in CII. But you need to check manually 25% variation.

Hitesh

[PipingDesign] Selection of Spring Hanger
Can anyone tell me, how to select a common spring hanger, which will be
used
in typical piping layouts.
Total 10 piping system has been analyzed separately in C-II and each needs
one spring hanger. The results for all the 10 systems are, Hot load varies
between 3600 N to 6000 N and the vertical up between 40 to 60 mm. C-II had
selected the different Sping size for each system. As per the requirement,
we need to suggest a common spring hanger, which should work for all 10
piping system.
For selecting one common spring hanger, do I need to take the average
value
of the above mentioned hot loads with higher travel ?
Is this the correct way of doing it?
Can anyone clarify the same
Thanks & Regards
