Topics posted here are normally those that has something to do with B31, CII or PDS. But Piping Design is more than this. Its also deals with API RBI 580/581, API 570 Inspection Code.
Almost always when welding is involved then ASME B&PV Code like Section IX for Welding/Brazing or Section V for NDE kicks-in. There's also the API Piping Component Standards for Refinery Service. And how about the API 579 FFS, plenty there related to evaluation of piping in distress. There's also the lack of appreciation regarding the MSS covering pipe support/hangers and almost none has posted a query related to PIP such as PIC001 P&ID Doc Criteria. Im also surprised that very few has shown any interest with the PFI. The OSHA PSM 1910.119 covers the PSI and MI of which changes to Piping is a big part of it â and yet has been ignored completely by piping users in this forum.
