Just starting with piping design? If you're a newbie try first going
over the following references.
Process Piping Design by Rip Weaver and Piping Guide by Sherwood and Whistance are excellent intro.
Then you can follow it up with Grinnel Piping Design ang Engineering to work out some simple analysis.
Next progression before touching Coade Caesar is reading/understanding the book by Helmut Thielsch and the one published by CASTI.
Tube Turns Inc has also published two excellent reference material
for the piping users.
1. Piping Engineering
2. Catalog 411. Welding Fitting. Flanges
In Reference 1, one can find a lot of technical papers published by ARC Markl – starting at page 103.
Now you ready to pour over the ASME B31 series and if you missed something, checkout M.W. Kellogg Company Design of Piping System. Now you can play with CII.
The recent book that I have read related to Piping Design is Process Plant Layout and Piping Design by Ed Bausbacher and Roger Hunt.
Want more, then log on to Paul's website. If you want some heavies related to piping design, then log on to ASME. Currently Im no longer heavily involved with piping works. Received on Sun Dec 18 02:46:00 2005
