butterfly valves

We use 1200nb & above sizes flanged CCS/fabricated carbon steel soft seated Butterfly valves in cooling water Carbon steel pipe work for max. pressure of 10 Kg/cm2 & temp. 60 deg C. We also provide man hole in this pipe for soft seat replacement.
If we change this valve to welded type, we can save high thickness flanges etc. By changing to welded type.
Is there any problem? Also are these flanges provided in the valve for Hydrostatic testing of valve. Pleasre suggest.
