No not a moot point but rather the whole point. The same conclusion
were also found in other plants that resulted in injury, death or
loss of property - the absence of management system. The CSB and the
MAry O'Connor website has run several article on this very same
issues.
A Management System that will control changes to process or will
affect the mechnical integrity or will ensure that process safety
information are current and available etc. Ignore this and chances
are ...
I still believe thats theres nothing wrong getting an info for the
purpose of conducting a study to determone the feasibility of a
project and I guess that is one of the reason why Piping Designer
visit this eGroup. Why you do with the info - that responsibility
rest with the person asking for it.
