Pipe Grid

<<We are looking for a software tool to calculate the transit time of a fluid through an initially dry system. The "system" is a grid of pipes with spray nozzles throughout.>>

I actually called and emailed the guy that asked this but he hasn't gotten back to me. He seemed to be a bit hesitant to explain the application, so maybe it's super secret or something.

Let's all speculate on what he's trying to do (I did ask for pressure, temperature and fluid).

• initially dry: this might mean freezing temperatures
• fluid: let's assume water
• grid: the fluid needs to be evenly-dispersed

Sounds like a fire sprinkler system to me, but knowing the company where he was posting from that is unlikely.

Aeration in a settling pond? Baseball field?
