What's the fluid temperature?
I checked with a cold box friend and he doesn't recall there being anything special about Argon (it's inert, after all). 304 should be fine, you might even get away with carbon steel downstream of the regulator after the vaporizer if the gas is warm enough. This assumes your supply is bulk liquid; if it's from high pressure cylinders you can probably just use CS.
