A google of "valve materials" provides nearly 10 million hits -- I suspect there
would be considerable "detail" revealed relative to "size" and "types" of valves
and materials if one were to read all of these!! An example regarding some
common types of valves and hydrants would be voluminous information on the
American Flow Control site at http://www.acipco.com/afc/ (Elie, I am now also
about two cents poorer.)
