Seen that, and a couple of others like it. I think it's been fixed
already in the new version of Safari. Actually there are a few, more if
you count MS Office macro viruses. But he number of viruses that affect
Macs is negligible and require a lot more user activity to activate
than anything currently plaguing Windows. If Norton or Sophos were
depending on Mac malware to stay in business, they'd be belly up by
now.

W32Nyxem-D works is to fiddle with the registry. There is no registry
in a Mac. It also depends on it's own little SMTP engine to send out
messages, which won't run on a Mac. BTW, it's a worm, not a virus… And
it's still around, I suspect because Paul's e-mail address is still
unmoderated.
