api 5l grade B & astm 106

dear All,

Can somebody guide me on whether we can use api grades pipe for station /terminal piping.If so then what are the pros and cons w.r.t astm 106 Gr b and others.As far i know 31.3 process piping doesn't have any restriction as such.
