CONC.Reducer at Suction End of Pump

Hello all of u.

   i had heard somewhere that if we place an Concentric reducer at the inlet(suction) of a pump then there will be cavitation action.because there will be AIR POCKETS produce.
plz describe me how cavitation be done,also how air comes in pump if we place a concentric reducer at the suction end of a pump. Received on Mon Feb 19 01:44:00 2007
