Hi Mahdi

Anchor block is used to avoid transfer of forces induced in buried pipeline to above ground piping. They are provided at both ends of buried pipelines. It is a mass concrete block with anchor sleeve to hold the pipeline against the forces & deflections induced in buried portion. Go through to Pipeline Handbook or Google search for further details.
