hello sir,

   Thank u for the reply and i mean a term called WATER CUT used in oil industry . is ther any definition for that . i have searched in web but not clear . can u plz help me . during simulation using hysys . we use this term for water to be removed from gas/oil in contactor

     according to my understanding of the problem, u can do the following :    there is no problem of mixing oil with water, now do the clarification process andd then allow the mixture to settle after that separate them mechanically (the two layes can be easily separedet), finally the traceses of oil in water can be separated in vaccume distillation.
