Hi JUn,
stainless could be duplex (22 Cr%,...) or super duplex (25%) and that was the
intent. These two grades are used extensively in subsea or marine enviornment.

Stainless steel pipe material for sea water service?? Not in our
plant.
Cupro-nickel material may be OK for US Navy application but in
process/power plants where the coolant header (sea water service) is
about 108 " NPS size - well you might have to rethink the economics
of utilizing such material.
